{"id":960,"date":"2017-11-13T18:16:20","date_gmt":"2017-11-13T22:16:20","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.columbusbg.org\/?p=960"},"modified":"2017-11-13T18:16:20","modified_gmt":"2017-11-13T22:16:20","slug":"november-2017-monthly-tournament-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.columbusbg.org\/?p=960","title":{"rendered":"November 2017 Monthly Tournament Results"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"entry\">\n<p>We had a group of 10 players this month, as well as a marching band (yes, really!), all there to see <strong>Maron Cury<\/strong> win his first tournament of the year in the Main Bracket final over current Masters Points leader <strong>Mike Rezai<\/strong>.<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the consolation final, <strong>Trevor Dierkes<\/strong> defeated <strong>Chris Yep<\/strong> to win third place and maintain pace with Mike Rezai in the Masters Points standings.<\/p>\n<p>The top three places in the Masters Points race shuffled around a little bit, but it proves to be an exciting December tournament as they all ended November within 20 points of each other:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<ol>\n<li>Mike Rezai (369)<\/li>\n<li>Trevor Dierkes (356)<\/li>\n<li>Edwin Jones (350)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<div class=\"entry\">\n<p>The full tournament bracket for this month can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/backgames.org\/bg\/club.standings.php?club_id=11&amp;mode=tournament_report&amp;tournament_id=6281&amp;links=standings\">here<\/a> and the current Masters Points standings can be found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.columbusbg.org\/?page_id=18\">here.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry\">\u00a0Thank you again to all who came out to play today, and congratulations as well to our top 3:<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry\">\n<p><strong>1st \u2013 Maron Cury<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>2nd \u2013 Mike Rezai<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>3rd \u2013 Trevor Dierkes<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The next monthly tournament will be held on <strong>December 10th<\/strong>.
